While the golf, tennis and our new treatment room grab the headlines at Longeveau, a deeper look will uncover a range of other facilities to suit all ages and tastes...
We have several swimming pools available for the sole use of residents staying at Longeveau. Our main pool (12m) is heated and accompanied by a smaller children’s splash pool. There are plenty of sun loungers available for relaxing and the surrounding gardens are well tended.
A second pool is shared by the properties at L'Hammeau and there is also a shared pool for the properties in the 'Old Puygironde' development - with amazing views! Pressoir de Pierre and L'Olivier share a pool. Plus there are private pools with L'Emilienne, Mericier, Catalpa and Chez Grelon (all heated). All pools at Longeveau are securely fenced and gated, with safety in mind.
Our sports barn retains the charm of the original building and can be used for numerous sports. It has a compact tennis court and a basket ball court (though the hoops are lower than in the NBA, for the benefit of our younger visitors!). It is used for football, rounders and all manner of play and often proves a welcome break from the midday sun. Outside of the holiday season, some of the equipment may be temporarily unavailable. Please ask us for more information. Depending on demand, fitness classes can also be organised. Again, please ask if you are interested..
We have a fully fenced children’s play area with swings, climbing frame and a slide. Our children’s club also has an enclosed garden and a range of inside and outside toys and books. Adjacent the bar and terrace we have a toddlers play area, to keep our littlest guests happy! This also happens to be great for preventing escapees - while you are enjoying a relaxing drink or bite to eat! A secret play house can also be found in the back garden of the Manoir!
Table tennis, boules and a pool table further compliment the facilities on offer, while an informal game of football is often enjoyed by the kids and grown ups after the BBQ on Monday nights!
Longeveau is surrounded by peaceful countryside with rivers, villages and hamlets to explore. It is a great base for walks and bike rides, while the estate and its attractive surroundings often inspire people to get out their paints. We have hosted a number of painting groups over the years and many of their paintings can be seen around the place!
