Longeveau has become a local centre for car enthusiasts, with regular meetings for both classic and modern sports cars. On the second Sunday of every month we hold a classic car meeting here and the courtyard is usually full of Jaguars, Citroëns, old MG’s, Aston Martins, Renaults, Bentleys, Panhards, and various other interesting old vehicles!
We have also held special days for Ferraris, Lotus’s, Bentleys and Triumphs, and other clubs often visit us to spend the day at Longeveau. We are the regional centre for the ‘MG Car Club de France’ with regular meetings including an annual weekend in September which takes in the “Circuit des Ramparts” at nearby Angouleme.
For anyone with a classic car in need of help, we do have a fully equipped workshop with a qualified mechanic who could help out in the unlikely event that you have a problem. We have worked on a number of interesting renovation projects over the past several years and we normally have at least one restoration project under way at any given time.
